I have recently discovered the joys of making boilermakers/depth charges with Guinness and Jack Daniels. You need a good wide, substantial whiskey tumbler full of Guinness, drop the shot glass of JD into it and down in one.

Absolutely sublime.

Jah, I?ve always been under the impression that a boilermaker is a beer and a shot (of whisky/ey). You can then, if you so choose, depth-charge your boilermaker.
