HonaloochieB
Stoney, Stoney, Stoney. Muffin in our face? Crumpet to be sampled?I accuse you of being a cipher to an Italian suppository. Yes, innuendo! There, I've said it!Lovely bit of? Care for a? Butter with that? I'll take those through the tradesman's entrance? (this is an innocent remark by a retail establishment that wishes to take on crumpet wholesale, but you can see how a jealous rival clinging to a muffin trade might misrepresent the situation). And of course there is the one about Muffin The Mule being an archaic sexual offence. This is where you were leading us, wasn't it Stoney? Thank the stars we never succumbed. reetpetite
As a small child in the fifties when I lived in Denmark Hill,I can remember the muffin man who came round on his bike ringing his bell usually on a Sunday. We had them for tea toasted on a long fork over an open fire ,wonderful.
