I?d be more inclined to trust the account of someone who lives opposite cemetery.

What is the amount of dogs that Southwark allows wi5h dog walkers? I used to see more than six being walked by dog walkers employed by Angela, owner of the dog walking company who had one of her vehicles stolen with dogs inside because the walker left the keys in the ignition. I believe one of the Dogs was never found.

Southwark permits dog walkers to walk up to six dogs at a time. I don't know how anyone could do this and pick up shit whilst also making sure the dogs are behaving themselves. Southwark's ruling should be changed to 4 dogs in my opinion.

I guess if it was your profession and you did this every day, you'd become quite the expert. It's the owners I see walking their dogs, on their phones or too far ahead and not concentrating on what their dogs are doing that's the problem!

I agree that there are some dog walkers in question that don't give a good name for other dog walkers, but punishing them all seems a bit extreme, especially when they are actually great at what they do!

    • Cheques are still the safest way to send money to others if you want to make a 'thing' of it. At Christmas or birthdays a card with a cheque is the most effective present to distant god children or extended family, for instance when you don't know what they have or need - made out to the parent if you don't think they have an account yet. Of course you can use electronic transfer, often, to parents if you set it up, but that doesn't quite have the impact of a cheque in the post. So a cheque still has a use, I believe, even when you have very much reduced your cheque writing for other purposes.

    • The solution for the cost of duvet washing is for each person to have their own single duvet like in Scandinavia.  Then you can wash the duvet in your own washing machine. Get a heated drying rack if you don’t have a tumble dryer.
