DOUBLE ROOM IN WEST NORWOOD

2 bed flat-share with bright ample living room (on the process of hanging curtains), lovely garden, fully fitted kitchen, wonderful shower and bath (lots of water pressure), the room has a big window so it's full of light and fresh air, with double bed, wardrobe and bedside table. I lived here for the last five years and my flatmate had to move out, so I am looking for someone chilled out, clean and respectful. I like having the flat clean and tidy but don't live for it. I have a very sweet cat who doesn't have a toilette indoors, so no cat smell at all. There is a door in the corridor that offers privacy and independence for sharing. I like cooking, gardening, watching TV and going out with my mates. I ride my push bike all around London and try to have a healthy life. I am a translator (Spanish mother tongue) and like a quiet life. Sometimes I have friends for dinner, but no parties. I would like to live with someone independent but sociable and friendly. The rent includes all the bills and fast WiFi and sky TV.

    • Another big thumbs up for Will from me. I've had bass lessons with Will over the past year after a 30 year break, and they've been great. He approached our lessons from a songwriting perspective, which was perfect for my needs.  I played bass in a band for a few years in the 1990s but never really knew what I was doing. A year with Will has given me a far better understanding of music theory and how bass relates to other instruments in a band.  Thank you Will!
    • Hi How about finding a neighbour with a cat and arranging reciprical cat feeding?  I have always found that as long as they are fed once or twice a day  cats are fine on their own for 2 or 3 weeks.  Much better than they would be in a cattery.
    • Yes, time to drain the swamp that is the White House.
    • A fair amount hangs on SCOTUS in the coming days. Will they prop up Trump's powers under Executive Orders or choose to support Congress? Some of the Judges are clearly corrupt but perhaps others, like Coney Barrett, will grow a conscience.
