Surprising no-one has started whinging on about the new shrunken post office referb?

It's still functioning pretty well as a Post Office; except for the day I went there and the computers were down and so it was shut. I did notice however that every time anyone passed by the doors automatically open. This will mean the place will be freezing in the winter if you are stuck in a queue, or behind the counter!

I thought it was closing and moving up the Lane to share space in another store, so shock and horror (well not quite) but surprise on Saturday morning to see it had been revamped and transitioned into a modern Post Office branch.

I went on Saturday to post a letter, and the Post Office was open but the letterbox outside was not!!

Another person and I were told just to leave our letters on the counter.

Didn't recognise any of the staff there, and the woman I dealt with was indifferent to the point of rudeness

Hi just checking is this the one next to bank and dry cleaners down lordship lane? I thought the post office is closed next to the Sainsbury's local although it's still listed on the PO website as our nearest one?

The one next to the Sainsbury's has moved into the Cost Cutters but I wouldn't go in there if you are a recovering alcoholic because there are shelves absolutely chocka with booze all around the counter!
