Pickle
Mr Pickle would be up for this - his eyes lit up at the mention of a pint and a free pass to go to the pub ;-) Two kids, 2.5 and 15 months. snowboarder
No, no, this isn't fair!! I haven't been to the pub in 5 months! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7900-east-dulwich-dads-edd/page/2/#findComment-246537 Share on other sites
Mellors
I am sure Mr Mellors would be outrqaged at the prospect of baby chat ruining his night at the pub....its his one refuge from it all! KatsuQueen
MrKatsu is really up for meeting up with other ED Dads. But is it with kids or without? He has no preference for weekend or weekday evening but it might be a good idea to alternate? He can spend as much time in the pub as he likes as long as he takes MiniKatsu (7 months)! (I'll let him off if it is an evening thing) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7900-east-dulwich-dads-edd/page/2/#findComment-246549 Share on other sites
Keef
Well then perhaps alternate meetings, one a child free week night. The next a weekend with kids... Mr P
Hi, I'd happily meet up for beer or kids activities. Two kids son nearly 2 daughter nearly 3.A beer sounds like a perfect start to a dads club, clockhouse or CPT work best for me but any pub in E.Dulwich works.Any evening next week works for me... Jamma
You new dads will regret inviting anyone with a child over six months - we all think we're experts!May I suggest Tuesdays at the CPT? There'll be champions league football on most weeks so, you know, it's not just men meeting up to talk about babies which is a bit, you know, well you know. I'm not that interested in the football, it could just be an ice-breaker. That's all.I wouldn't ever make a weekend date because as someone says that's generally for family stuff but if you were to say every second Tuesday in the CPT I reckon I'd be in. Keef
Okay, who is up for next Tuesday CPT, 7:30/8ish?We can see who rocks up, have a chat about football and children, and how I never get to relax in front of Football Focus on a Saturday anymore (Grrr!!!). If it works out, then maybe we can look at a getting together with kids thing at a weekend... Jamma
YOu may miss football focus but the Match of the Day repeat on a Sunday morning is a godsend.I'll need to check the calendar but should be good for Tuesday. ratty
OK, I will try and come - momney is tight however cos we are off on hols on Friday 18th. Will try and keep a few sheckels back from the weekend.Re the above though - it's true - Sunday morning MOTD is the bomb! It is essential viewing for me and Jack on Mummy's lie in day. Also true is the fact that any father with a child of over 6 months thinks they know the be all and end all of fatherhood! :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/7900-east-dulwich-dads-edd/page/2/#findComment-246909 Share on other sites
