uncleglen
I heard the clip-clop of horses' hooves and having not heard them around here for some years I looked out and saw a white funeral carriage and plumed horses followed by about 7 luxury cars. Was it a local dignitary who passed on? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/78868-funeral-cortege/ Share on other sites

Peckhamrye
I live on Peckham Rye and it's quite a regular thing to have horse-drawn hearses pass by - always very moving and a great South London tradition.
