Hello,

I can give info based on the usual 3 scans for low risk pregnancy from experience. You get sent a letter for 11-13 week scan which states an appointment time... I was under the impression you can only change it if you have a really good reason, I changed it once because I was out of the country but had to accept an appointment in the middle of the day. I am not self employed so all fine as your place of work have to give you time off for antenatal appointments. You book the 22 week and later scan at the hospital after you have had the 12 week one. The earliest I have ever managed was 930am. I was kept waiting for results for my last 12 week scan and most of the sonographers and doctors were leaving at around 6... But maybe a few stay later. Maybe someone else can give you more info. X
