In a career spanning over 30 years Antony Gormley's work has engaged with the relationship of the human body to space. His most celebrated works include The Angel of the North and Event Horizon, a series of 31 lifesize body form sculptures which has been installed around cities worldwide, including London, Rio de Janeiro and New York. In a new illustrated book, Antony Gormley on Sculpture, he explores his own work but also the western sculptural history and Buddhist traditions that have inspired him, and key influential works by artists including Epstein, Giacometti and Brancusi.

Join him in conversation with novelist Will Self at London's Central Saint Martin's college.

    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
