Asset
Actually that was a rhetorical question. Part of Scotland is part of the island which is known as Great Britain. It also belongs to the United Kingdom and the British Isles. However it is its own country. Mick Mac
Tongue in cheek Jah - just thought it was amusing why someone would think there was any need to point out that Scotland was in Great Britain, only an American would think that was news to anyone surely. Is it part of The British Isles, as well. or is only part of it "part of The British Isles" ??Confused, Bexleyp.s. "Edited" as I missed the comma after "as well" which I profusely apologise for. Brendan
I think Scotland (like the countries of England, Wales and London) is on Great Britain rather than in it. innitOr have I got that wrong? SimonM
The "part" of Scotland not part of "Great Britain" is presumably Orkney, Shetland and all the other islands? EDKiwi
Surely if Asset was American they would have stated that 'Scotland is part of the island which is known as Great Britain. It also belongs to the United Kingdom and the British Isles, which in turn belong to the United States'.
