hello, who watched the supermoon turn to rust this morning?

Did anyone take a good pic? we were sitting outside wrapped up warm, disappointed that we could not hear howling.

T'was a little underwhelming - I've seen lunar eclipses before, but I think the light pollution in London lowered the spectacle.

And my cheap camera wasn't up to the job.

At 4.00am it was red, high in the SWW sky.... BUT Super it wasn't.

Looked smaller than usual ? ..and very dim..

Light pollution ruined our chances. I hear the moors of the West Country got the best views.

Taken with a very long focal length lens(1000mm+) will compress distance and give it that effect.
