fergju
HiI have 3 year old twins and we need to use West Dulwich station each morning. It is pretty death defying trying to ge both of them off with the huge gap between the train and platform and lots of commuters wanting to get on.I was just wondering if others using this station find the same problem or am I using the wrong part of the platform.I would like to avoid using the car instead but at the moment using WD station is pretty stressful every morning. Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/76055-west-dulwich-station-with-small-children/ Share on other sites
Mellors
No, its grim - could you use Sydenham Hill instead (depending where you are travelling to) - much less stressful/fewer people/no gap, although its step access?Herne Hill is always packed and getting on a train is a nightmare, let alone with kids. fergju
cool I will check out Sydenham Hill. its crazy given there is a school less than 100 yards from the station that it is so dangerous. If it was just one child I could manage or a wee one and and older one but trying to get both girls off the train with their bags is a massive stress. I live in fear one of them slipping or some how getting left with the rest of the commuters into Victoria!
