ribrob
I'm curious as to whether there's any Three mobile network users on here that have noticed any difference in the speed of internet access via their mobile network in the last month or two.I'm also curious to know what sort of 4G coverage you're getting currently compared to earlier in the year.Rob Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/75917-three-mobile-network/ Share on other sites
moondancer
hello Rob, I live near the Actress, and believe I have a 'variable signal' ie my laptop will seize, or show script but not photos, and atmospheric conditions make no difference. 4g phone signal is weak, and definitely reduced from earlier in the year, hope this helps, - I have adapted to this and relieved daily that I am no longer with Talk Talk.Good luck in getting it sorted ! ribrob
Hi there Thanks for the reply.I've been onto Three a number of times in the last month, something definitely not right. There's one spot on Lordship Lane where i can get 10mb a second through my phone, but the rest of the area is usually 200k a second. I barely get 4G and when i do it's only for very short periods.Three support / customer services are going the usual turn-your-phone-off-and-on-again route with me at the moment, but given my wife is having the same problem, i suspect there's nothing wrong with my phone whatsoever.Out of curiosity - are you using a broadband dongle or mobile phone tethering?Rob Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/75917-three-mobile-network/#findComment-904279 Share on other sites
moondancer
hello Rob,I use mobile phone tethering, - occasionally this will not always give me a full connection.I believe there is a thread enquiring as to the best mobile coverage for the area although I amsorry I cannot remember what the conclusions were. It is annoying when friends/family here achieveexcellent reception on their phones or laptops. 02 seems to work well. There is nothing wrong withyour phone. Unless of course you have hurled it against the wall in exasperation. You will have more replies tomorrow no doubt, people on here are always helpful, - I hope you havethe answer you want soon.
