Advice on informal meeting place very close to Royal Opera House

On Saturday we have one hour to catch up with some elderly family friends before taking kids to the ROH for our first time (cheap tkts!!) - can anyone recommend somewhere informal with space for nine - I guess a quiet pub would be perfect, allowing us to snack and drink but don't know if that wld exist round there?....very grateful for any suggestions...it wld be at midday..

Marquess of Anglesey has an upstairs room. Orso Italian restaurant should also be quieter.
