Hi

I am an experienced, qualified Pilates instructor with specialist training in teaching exercise during and post pregnancy.

It is advisable to adapt the type and position of exercises during pregnancy; Pilates in pregnancy is a safe, effective and beneficial form of exercise. These small group classes are suitable to attend from your second trimester and include exercises to help improve pelvic floor function, pelvic stability, good posture whilst aiming to also help release areas of tension with mobilising, stretching and time for relaxation.

The small group classes are due to start in OCTOBER - maximum of 10 places available.

Tuesday evenings - 8.15pm-9.15pm - Goose Green - SE22. All equipment will be provided.

Please email [email protected] for further information. Attendance can be on a discounted, block booking or drop-in basis, subject to availability.

Further pregnancy/post natal exercise information is available at www.pilatesform.co.uk and www.facebook.com/pilates form

I look forward to hearing from you :)

    • I see their website has it as https://www.royalmail.com/services-near-you/delivery-office/peckham-and-east-dulwich-delivery-office-se15-5au, though I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're also distinct administrative or operational entities for some purposes.  I note, for example, that Peckham (SE15) isn't on the list.
    • A reminder of the current situation. Covid-19 Eligibility: https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/covid-19-vaccine/ Availability: NHS are no longer running their own appointment-making system. This winter's version is still available from pharmacies until 31 January.   They may have individual availability times, see:  https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy-offering-walk-in-COVID-19-vaccination-services Flu Flu vaccinations (65+, pregnant, higher risk, or private) are available from some pharmacies.  See https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy-that-offers-free-flu-vaccination for details of eligibility and a link to a pharmacy finder. Some may offer appointments: you may have to dig down into their individual listing. RSV Currently eligible/recommended: If pregnant (at 28+ weeks), or age 75-79, or became 80 on or after 1 Sept 2024. This has been available from GP practices.  I was offered one by text.  When I responded a week later they didn't have any available but gave me one by appointment three weeks later. https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/rsv-vaccine/ Other vaccines https://www.nhs.uk/vaccinations/
    • I get that they're being pollarded. This estate was built in the 60's and so I'm guessing that they're around 60 years old.  Nothing wrong with that but even when they re-grow they're hardly going to be the most attractive. Y'know just musing on improving the look of our public spaces.
    • Pretty repetitive on the transport section.  I like a good discussion and this does raise wider issues.  I miss banks more than post office branches which tend to be part of other stores.  A few other threads on the Lounge, come on over.  Or 🐕 💩
