The story of the Welsh in London spans a thousand years and in many ways is still largely untold. Broadcaster and journalist Huw Edwards says it is impossible to understand the history of the Welsh in London without appreciating the central place of organised religion. In City Mission, he traces an intriguing story of London?s Welsh chapels which spans several centuries. But his book is far more than a story of chapels and churches. It sheds light on the story of one of London?s first ethnic minorities ? the Welsh.

  I see their website has it as https://www.royalmail.com/services-near-you/delivery-office/peckham-and-east-dulwich-delivery-office-se15-5au, though I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're also distinct administrative or operational entities for some purposes. I note, for example, that Peckham (SE15) isn't on the list.

This winter's version is still available from pharmacies until 31 January. They may have individual availability times, see: https://www.nhs.uk/service-search/pharmacy/find-a-pharmacy-offering-walk-in-COVID-19-vaccination-services Flu Flu vaccinations (65+, pregnant, higher risk, or private) are available from some pharmacies. Some may offer appointments: you may have to dig down into their individual listing. RSV Currently eligible/recommended: If pregnant (at 28+ weeks), or age 75-79, or became 80 on or after 1 Sept 2024. This has been available from GP practices. I was offered one by text.   I get that they're being pollarded. This estate was built in the 60's and so I'm guessing that they're around 60 years old. Nothing wrong with that but even when they re-grow they're hardly going to be the most attractive. Y'know just musing on improving the look of our public spaces.
