We are looking for a likeminded, friendly family to join our nanny share, for 4-5 days a week in October when our current Share comes to an end. Our Nanny currently looks after our 2 daughters (6 year old and 20 months old) along with the other families 2 other girls (4 & 2).

Our eldest daughter is at Heber School and our youngest is at home.

Our Nanny is fantastic! She is a reliable, caring and fun loving (German, non-driver) with teaching experience (Montessori qualified) and 20 years experience in different settings (au pair, mother's help, teaching assistance, nursery and pre reception teacher, sole charge nanny, nanny share). She is an excellent cook and likes to keep the house in order.

She enjoys playing games, reading stories, watching the children explore their senses through activities she provides and she loves the outdoors.

Kathy is big on manners and general behaviour, firm but fair.

She has a large circle of nanny friends. They often meeting up for the park, go for little outings or arts and craft activities.

She has had experience with babies, twins, disabled children and children with learning difficulties. She is Ofsted registered and has an up to date First Aid certificate and CRB.

Please drop me a line if you are interested or would like to know more?

Thanks!

    • A beer in the garden would have been nice, I'm sure! Mine was a meal inside. I don't remember much about it except that it was horrible.
    • Went to the Harvester a couple of times to have a beer in the garden, it was quite popular and had a 'certain' charm.
    • I never went in The Grove when it was a pub, but I had a meal there once when it was a Harvester (I used to occasionally be a Mystery Shopper, and I was persuaded to go and have this meal because it was a bank holiday and they couldn't find anyone else to do it.) It was truly horrible. At least I got paid for eating it, albeit not very much, but I think I would have paid not to have to eat it. If it becomes an "affordable" restaurant again, I hope at least it has decent food. Why do "these youngsters" need "adult help" to be enterprising? They aren't six year olds!
    • At the end of the day, whilst these youngsters have been enterprising presumably with adult help & I also assume no local youth group - the fact remains that it is a prime site fir redevelopment be it a supermarket - Aldi, Lidel whatever or social housing which, let’s be honest here lots  of people need.   Know Idea why has been derelict gor do long anyhow, but somewhere on this site I think there is a problem with who owns it. And let’s not forget the homeless man who slept there - Front on Lordship Lane who had his home destroyed by I assume vandals a couple of years ago.
