petra_29
Hoping to draw on people's experience. Headed to Beckenham spa yesterday for one of the baby pool swim sessions with my 16 month old. Pool closed when we got there so we took him in the main pool. He was absolutely fine so happily my plan is to use 'big' pools (or learner) pools but not restrict myself to the times of the hydrotherapy pools. My experience at Crystal Palace rd fusion are that it's quite cold (swam a lot there when pregnant). Can anyone shed any light on the temp of other pools around? Doesn't have to be warm, just bearable for skinny toddler.Thank you Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/73743-swimming-pool/ Share on other sites
mima08
Dulwich pool does baby swimming, not particularly warm but ok. Get him a wetsuit - that made a lot of difference to my skinny son at that age! sanity girl
JAGS pool has just had a new boiler installed and is a pleasant temperature now - used to be quite cool, but better since the new boiler Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/73743-swimming-pool/#findComment-897609 Share on other sites
Growlybear
All of the swimming pools in the Woolwich complex have always been like a warm bath when I've been there. The temperature at Forest Hill seems a bit warmer than many pools.
