Hi Azalea, thank you for this! Yes I’ve reached out to BBC London but if you or people of this forum have any other ideas / connections I’d be very interested to hear them! Obviously Southwark News picked up on it but would like to raise more awareness of the condition and my fundraising for treatment. and yes it is very sad as I love being a nurse & midwife and am very keen to get back to it but feel frustrated that I have been failed by the NHS at my time in need. -

According to police figures on reported crime these types of crime have been steadily increasing over a long period of time (on the figures I looked at for the Dulwich Village ward), it's one of the reasons that reported crimes are at their highest for 3 years. I suspect similar trends will have been seen in other wards too.
