mayumi
Does anyone have experience with leaving their babies at Mother Goose Greendale? They accept babies from 3mos onwards and would like to hear other people's experience. Thinking of putting my little one there who is just off 4mos! Leedojo
I would love to hear some more feedback too. A Mom I spoke to in the library this week said her son goes there and she's really happy with it. Bonfire2010
My son went from age 9 months (left earlier this year aged 4 years). We were very happy and loved the baby room staff and the little outdoor area they have for the babies. mayumi
Thanks everyone. I think they are taking 9 babies in which I think is a lot ? Or is this normal ? KatDew
My kids left a year ago however my three children all started as 6 month old babies and stayed through till they went to reception. I was very happy with them. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/73561-baby-room-mother-goose-greendale/#findComment-897426 Share on other sites
Melihoople
It depends on the staff ration. I think its supposed to be 1 staff to max 2 babies. At any time. minder
I don't think 9 babies under age of one is a lot for a nursery to accommodate if they have the room but as an Early Years provider (other than a childminder who can only care for 2 under 2's at any one time) they would need to have at least one member of staff for every 3 babies. If they did have only one member of staff looking after 3 babies then the staff member would have to hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification.
