Come and celebrate the approaching weekend with a fun and friendly quiz at the Plough tonight. You could win cash for first prize or a bottle of wine for coming second-to-last...not to mention many spot prizes too. It's only ?1.50 to enter and takes places in the left-hand-side bar as you walk through the front entrance. It's an 8 for 8.30 start.

  My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀

  I’ve searched and found some chat back in October about the white stuff place closing and that Oliver Bonas could take it over. Hopefully that’s the case. Went to Bromley over Christmas and there’s quite a few shop closures on the main high street that weren’t there when I last went. Think it could be going the same way as Croydon sadly.
