I'm meeting a friend from Putney today and we'd like to take our one year olds to a nice soft play area we can both reach by public transport. Clapham is pretty much in the middle (don't know of any soft play areas there) but other areas with direct bus/train connections are fine too...

Does anyone know of something? Thanks in advance!

Just near Merton Abbey Mills is Eddie Catz, which has a good play area for young toddlers. I'm not sure how you'd get there, but it's close to the saver centre, if that helps (near Colliers wood tube) There is also one in Putney by the way.

You could also try the One O'clock clubs in Wandsworth/Battersea park.

    • Very happy to add my recommendation for TDR property maintenance. Tony and his team have transformed my front garden, breaking up a bare patch of concrete and laying a beautiful victorian tiled path. They've also repaired a wall and a fence for us. Richard's tiling has been meticulous and Tony's communication has been great throughout the process. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
    • Perhaps this could be part of your proposed forum meet up, the cheese I hasten to add @Sue
    • Sounds like you've had some interesting evenings 🤣
    • Shame, go there!  Although embarrassingly we only used it takeaway during lockdown.  It's a Persian store/cafe/restaurant if you are unaware of the cultural reference in the name.   Just checked the menu and it is phenomenal and good value too, thanks for reminding me to go there  https://foratasteofpersia.co.uk/restaurant/
