Dear EDFers,

Next Tuesday 1st September 2015 we are starting a new 8-week Dragon & Tiger Qigong course at the beautiful ZenYoga on Camberwell Grove in Camberwell. The price is ?75. Qigong is similar to Tai Chi and Yoga.

This is a brilliant and very popular healthcare practice that is suitable for all ages, levels of experience and states of health. This particular set is extremely successful in China, practised by a believed 20 million people, where it is often prescribed with acupuncture and Chinese herbs for cancer treatment. This is no joke, it is a powerful and brilliant practice when you practise regularly. As there are only 7 movements it is relatively quick and easy to learn.

It is proven to:

-strengthen the internal organs

-keep muscles and joints flexible and healthy

-increase recovery time from injury and surgery

-prevent injury

-ease stress and balance emotions

-improve nerve, cardiopulmonary and vascular function

We have limited space available, and have only another 6 places left.

In terms of joining this course I am looking for individuals committed to learn this Qigong set and practising a small amount each day to really bring the movements into your daily lifestyle and into your body memory.

This style of Qigong has the power of tremendous transformation and brilliant health, but only to those prepared to make good use of it. Just like pills from the doctor, it is better to have some everyday than a lot once a week. However this is completely natural and causes no side effects.

If you are looking for an easy, quick and effective self-treatment practice, this is a great option that gives you firm power over your own health and destiny. When the body is weak or stiff, these movements helping get everything flowing more freely. When the mood or the mind is disturbed, confused or depleted, Dragon & Tiger Qigong will reset you into a neutral state, a more productive, happy and healthy state.

What people are saying:

?George is an extremely knowledgeable and generous teacher, who greatly helped me further my understanding of myself. His honest and kind nature makes learning from him a real pleasure. George has much practical as well as scholarly experience, and is someone I continually go back to for further learning.?

? Nick Osipczak, UFC veteran, former professional mixed martial artist. Now Qigong, Tai Chi and meditation instructor in Watlington, near Oxford.

?I suffer from osteo-arthritis in most joints and find most forms of exercise difficult. I was introduced to qigong approximately three years ago and almost instantly enjoyed positive benefits. I go to two different but similar classes by two different teachers but find George?s best suits my abilities. The exercises are gentle and repetitive so it is surprising the effect they have on your body. By the end of class I have increased mobility which lasts for a few days. Long term my muscle tone and balance have improved remarkably. I feel better and look better with people commenting that I have lost weight when it is just my improved posture. Tuesdays are marked off as qigong evenings and it has to be something pretty important to make me miss a class.? ? MA

?I also attend his Qigong sessions which are both enjoyable and grounding ? George is an excellent teacher.? ? CG
