My tyres were slashed at midnight last night. I was in the sitting room and saw a silhouette pass by before the the hissing of the air being released from my tyres. By the time I opened my front door the individual was gone. Another two tyres were later slashed while I was asleep. I noticed the car opposite also had its front light smashed. Has anyone else experienced vandalism of this sort in the last week or so?

Please, please, please, do report this to the Police non emergency 101 number now.

Local Police would have really appreciated a call at the time you excited around midnight last night. 101 if officers are free can see instant very quick response. The mere fact of a patrol car in the area might have avoided the further tyre slashing.

    • My annoyance Is with the fact that the gym is being closed for 5 weeks for refurbishment but we dont have an option to freeze our membership if the only facility we use is the gym. Apparently Peckham gym is closed at the same time for refurbishment which I think is pretty stupid. Therefore the nearest gym for all the members from ED leisure centre and Peckham leisurecentre is the one in Camberwell . I lament the everyone active days..at least I could attend gyms near to work and outside Southwark
