Doodledoo
I'm guessing you're flying soon, but for the future, these are great: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Accurate-weighing-suitcases-luggage-capacity/dp/B002EDGKZ0/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1440423430&sr=8-3&keywords=luggage+scales Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/71811-weighing-luggage/#findComment-891847 Share on other sites

tomskip
I've got a feeling Farmers sell those weighing hook things, if you have time tomorrow. I have a vague memory that that's where ours came from. Giacomelli
If you have a normal weighing scale weigh yourself with and without luggage, the difference is the luggage. Those hook things are easier though! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/71811-weighing-luggage/#findComment-892036 Share on other sites
sweetgirl
my bathroom scales do a perfect job! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/71811-weighing-luggage/#findComment-892037 Share on other sites
EDmummy
We recently bought a weighing hook from Sainsburys and couldn't get it to work. V frustrating. Ended up resorting to our old method of bathroom scales. edanna
Unless your scales are super reliable I would definitely try to get a couple of kilos under the limit. I had weighed my case at home and thought that it was 21.9kg but at the airport it was 24kg - so I had to hurriedly stuff some heavier things into my husband's case.
