I recently offered up Free Born Man Of The Travelling People by his good self and the Clancy siblings on the Song Game Thread MM.

They soundtracked my younger days when a family visit was going on, drink had been taken and a yearning for the 'auld sod' kicked in.

Bob Dylan paid attention, did he not?

Females:

Patrice Rushen: A very talented songstress who was also a jazz pianist

Minnie Riperton: Can anyone else reach those high notes?

Alicia Keys : Beautiful girl with a beautiful voice

Males:

Frank Sinatra: I can understand every word he sings. Not an easy trick to pull off for any singer.

Frankie Beverley (lead singer of Maze): Great singer. He could sing a shopping list and make it sound soulful

Maurice White and Phillip Bailey( Earth Wind and fire.) Perfect harmonies and they complemented each other beautifully

A special mention for James Taylor as well. His voice always brings a tear to my eye or a smile to my face, depending on what he's singing

I can picture the scene HB. Yes I read makems obituary and apparently bob dylan was a fan. I posted a you tube link to makem and clanceys the Dutchman once. Always worth a listen.

Yes, some things have gone that I loved to use, but if you take a bit of time and are game to try new things, it’s got a lot to offer. At the end of the month we will have an accompanying app that shows you how to use what they have safely a measure progress. I’ve seen the same people as before of all ages and abilities. Don’t write it off out of hand. It’s an amazing resource that many other boroughs would be proud to have
