So I'm off to Festival no 6 in a few weeks on a hen weekend

Haven't been to a festival for a few years now having a 3 yo and 10month old

And for that reason my current sleep deprivation means I MUST have something to sleep on that's comfortable (I've suggested the yurts but am the only one that's married let alone got children so they see no problem in a few nights with uncomfortable sleep!!)

Anyone recommend anything that will mean I get. Remotely comfortable nights sleep

I think self inflating mats ( SIMs ) are warmer and comfier than air beds . People think air mattresses are better because they are thicker but they are colder and will be too heavy if you're carrying them .

Something like this https://www.decathlon.co.uk/forclaz-400-self-inflating-camping-sleeping-mat-xl-blue-id_8330022.html

Take micro fleece blankets - have as much under you as on top .http://www.bhs.co.uk/en/bhuk/product/home-lighting-furniture-2565866/throws-bedspreads-2518933/microfleece-1022204/purple-microfleece-throw-3182761?bi=0&ps=20

Take a pillow .

And sleep in fleecy PJs .

I'd lend you stuff but all my camping stuff is currently in Devon .

    • Great idea! Yes, I think the SE22 curry club died a death. The restaurants were all much of a muchness at the time anyway, apart from Ganapati. Nyge and I were also recently  discussing whether people would be interested if we restarted  the Forum Drinks. They used to be fun, but I think the main organiser moved out of the area, as did some others,  and nobody else was very keen on taking it on.  Unless they are still happening covertly 🤣 If memory serves they were monthly, and in a different pub each time. It was good to be able to meet people in real life who post on the forum. I might start a separate thread at some point to see if anyone would be interested.
    • Really?! No wonder they still had so many left when we passed! What were they? How much did they want for them?! That seems an extremely strange way of enticing people into a new shop!
    • I saw my GP at The Gardens on Wednesday, had blood tests yesterday at Tessa Jowell (not the surgery, the blood testing place)  and had a text from my GP surgery this afternoon with the results. Your experience sounds appalling.
    • Yes, The Gardens is excellent and often recommended on here!
