I took a 176 into town at 9:30 last Wednesday, and the buses were nose to tail from Elephant to Waterloo. All the way. Completely chocca. You could have walked from Elephant to the Old Vic on the roofs of the buses.

Correct.

I'm not sure which road you're referring to (not very good with road names and numbers) but http://www.bbc.co.uk/travelnews/local/londoncentral.shtml lists roadworks and has a start and end date so perhaps this will tell you - if the roadworks you're referring to are listed - when they're due to finish.

A3202 [Westminster Bridge Road] Waterloo

eastbound between Dodson Street and A301, Waterloo Road, London restriction

A3202 London - Intermittent lane closures on Westminster Bridge Road eastbound due to roadworks between Dodson Street and A301 Waterloo Road, in Waterloo

it doesn't say anything about the roadworks btw dodson st and waterloo road but i guess it's this that's causing all the trouble

how depressing that it's going on for two years.. (!)

    • I would have asked, but I forgot! Just checked, and not only is today's jab not on there, which perhaps isn't surprising, but nor is last year's 😮
    • The sticker I was given at Kristal in December said Pfizer/Cominarty.  I see it now comes in ten-packs of preloaded syringes, and though initially stored ultra-cold, can now be delivered and stored for up to ten weeks at 2-8 degrees C, and then kept at 8-25 degrees for no more than twelve hours.
    • look online - you can get a garage to attend the test drive with you - so you can get some support once you get that far.  I can't comment on reputable dealerships - I would probably not buy from the same place that does the test drive with you though
    • Hey everyone, I’m currently on the hunt for a second-hand car and thought I’d reach out to the forum for some advice. I’m particularly looking for a U-LEZ compliant automatic hatchback, so if anyone is selling or knows of a good deal, I’d love to hear about it! Also, if you have any general tips on buying a second-hand car — things to watch out for, red flags, or recommendations on trustworthy dealerships — I’m all ears! Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
