We are a professional family looking for a morning and after school nanny to look after our 4 year old twins.

Ideally we will need you to be at home in the morning and take the girls to school (starts at 8:50AM) as we are both working parents and tend to leave home at 7:30 am in the morning. In the afternoon you will need to pick up the girls from school and take them home until 6.30pm.

Our twins are starting reception year this September at Fairlawn school and we live 2 minutes walk from the school.

We will need someone reliable, caring, and professional to entertain the girls in the afternoon with constructive activities homework, organise play date, art & craft etc. until dinner time. You will need to have childcare experience and be able to provide references.

Flexibility and variation of working hours during half terms/school holiday is required and a commitment until end of School period (next July) is necessary.

This role is ideal for a student or someone who lives close to us and has the flexibility to cover the required hours.

Salary will be discussed according to your experience.

If you think you fit this description and you are interested, please send us your CV a short note about yourself and your motivations.

Thank you!

    • What is also happening - I don't know about Sainsbury's as I no longer shop there, but certainly in other supermarkets and with some manufacturers - is that products remain the same price but the quality or quantity is reduced. Just one example: I buy Waitrose Essential tissues, only because they have plain boxes with no branding once they are in use, and I like the colours (blue for the large ones and mauve  for the smaller ones). The tissues in the mauve box have recently become so thin that they disintegrate virtually immediately you use them. Same with Cushelle quilted toilet rolls. Well, they don't disintegrate, which would be revolting, but they have also got so thin that it's hardly worth buying the quilted ones. And as for  PG Tips ...... 🤬
