I don't wanna be there thanks! What with all you self congratulatory lounge bar lawyers putting the world to rights thinking you're intelligent and boring the pants off of everyone. No wonder I get pissed whenever I'm on here, it's excruciating!

No I think you'll find members of the so called intelligent clique have managed to bore the rest of the manor off of the forum. Anyway, rather than sit around moaning and complaining about it, how about creating a hugely exciting thread yourself Seabag?......

Ah well. We soldier on. Your PM's must be really exciting. I'm guessing you spend the time bemoaning the good old days when you and the rest of the clique could rule the roost by banging on about things on you and them could understand. When the lounge was a no go area for anyone outside of that petty narrow hard line forumites with nothing better to do during the day. Good times! Anyway, I'm going to the fridge for something far more interesting.

Not even been chilleder can't stand warm ros? and one where was I. Seabag, serious now, this is me being honest. Hand on heart. I can see where you've come from with this one but it's only boring people who get bored. Look at me, I've got just this bottle of blush and the promise of a kiss to keep me going. I'm surviving in this world, and that's what matters most? Don't panic about other people and their lack of contribution to the forum. Life goes on!

Re. games in the Lounge... see the title for the Lounge on the homepage? "The place to relax and chat about anything... It's up to you".


Think of it as the equivalent of the crossword or astrology section at the back of the papers. You may think they're cack but plenty of people like them so if you don't, walk on by. They may not have the same banter as the football section but that's not the point of them, is it?

Looks like all the 'experts' who propped up the bar here in the lounge have fallen off their stalls foxy. One too many pints and the bollocksometer went off the scale. Nevermind. Anyway who fancies an out of date bag of pork scratchings? Seeing as all the staff have buggered off.

      Great shout. They do need the extra fat when it’s winter, but don’t use fat balls from April as they are dangerous for nestlings as the babies can choke on lumps of the fat. When it gets milder switch to suet pellets as they are harder and don’t melt (the grease is bad for feathers.

      Rather alarmist. There is unlikely to be snow this week, but even if there is that is natural and wildlife adjust accordingly. There are fewer insects to eat due to what humans have done to the planet over the decades.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decline_in_insect_populations  In particular: Habitat Loss and Fragmentation: Agricultural Chemicals: Climate Change: Pollution: Invasive Species: There is even a case for not feeding birds due to the spread of disease through feeders, greenfinch population was decimated.   https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2025/jan/24/should-we-stop-feeding-birds-what-happens-if-we-do-and-does-it-spread-disease   I do feed the birds but keeping a watching eye on the evidence.   And I try to grow insect and bird friendly plants including attempts at a meadow.   There could also be an argument for not keeping cats as these may decimate bird populations.   https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/aug/14/cats-kill-birds-wildlife-keep-indoors   You will need squirrel proof feeders and even then you may have the starlings and green squwaky things eating most of the food left out for small birds.

      Apparently this year due to the weather there are fewer insects for the birds to eat. So please if you don’t usually buy fat balls & seeds to put out (in safe places to avoid the cats ) a plentiful supply . They really need it this year, especially with snow forecast later this week.    Thankyou

      I hope she and the rider of the bike are ok. I feel its understandable that locals may be concerned when they see a road taped off and police presence.
