I would love to leave the men to do the bbq. However a few years ago when I threw a surprise bash for my ex (you'll soon realise why he is now my ex). I had the bbq all going, I'm pretty good, if I say so myself, asked him and his mate to go for more charcoal, two hours later when the bbq was dead he returned. Spent the whole time in the pub.

Never again will I go to all that trouble, so men the reason why you think your so good at bbq's, is because us women let you think you are.

Bit like what you do with washing up, always do crap job so you don't get asked again.

    • Maybe they have changed the system, or maybe I've just forgotten how it works. Mine was installed as a one off after I requested it (having worked out that it would save money). Yes, it would seem odd for Thames Water to install a meter which wasn't requested,  but then not to communicate anything at all to the house occupants, especially if neighbours in the same road said they didn't have a meter! I'm wondering what TW said to EDmummy101 when she contacted them?
    • "Vegetarians won't miss out as there will also be a radish & egg mayo milk bun on offer too." It's a meat shop so I suppose don't expect too much.
    • Anyone got one to sell?
    • The two most likely reasons for over-turning would either be  speed or loading related (possibly both). A burst tyre at just the wrong time (during a turn) might also cause this, but I think these lorries have doubled-up tyres. [The photo shows the tyres intact, so it won't be that] The other main reason for large vehicles over-turning (caught by wind) is unlikely on this occasion.
