have had curry from 2 sisters, many of times they was very nice and enjoyable until they changed hands a year or so back, i only live about 10 minute walk from them, when our curry was delivered it was stone cold,as i know they did not and do not delivery on foot, we rang them to say it was cold and then they came with a completly different meal none of it was what we ordered in the first place, rang them again after checking the order while the delivery guy was here to be told that they was under pressure because of a speacial celebration they were having, well sorry not the customers fault, never got any refund (45 quid)and the meal went straight in the bin as it was curry we never liked would never use them again.
I liked the Coriander, especially the v cold beers and the service. We went on Friday night, lured in my the '4 customers get a bottle of wine, 2 a bottle of beer'. However, we were told that there were 'terms and conditions', namely that you have to book to receive the free drink! Hmm, we said, and asked whether that it was likely that in a usually empty restaurant that proviso was fair, and suggested they comp us the drink anyway. They didn't. Mildly irritating to be on the end of such ludicrous sharp practice but the food and service was good. The beers weren't of that holiday-iciness that they should have been.

Is it not time for another vote on such establishments? :))

oh well, i guess i will now have to keep on making my own, at least i am relaible and i know the taste will be what we like, it takes me 2 days to make the main sauce of the currys and dishes, 10 minutes to do pilau rice excellent, but i dont mind as i like the overcomming aroma in my house that last for a few days or more, i enjoy the task of peeling fresh ingredients and making this curry gravy as they say from scratch, thank god for currys love them and enjoy making them.

    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
    • Hey, I am interested. I had started a club last year however everyone slowly dropped off but I am always up for morning runs and some evening runs too.
