Ah, just checked some postcodes and it looks like SE22 west of Lordship Lane (and north of Townley Rd) is fine, but not east.

I too am confused. Someone has emailed op and mentioned being Polish. This confused her and for some reason upset he as she wasn't despite posting asking for a room for a Polish couple which turns out not to be herself! don't know why this has upset her so much.
