Don't worry Indie - all my points are tongue in cheek. So all good fun. Tony = you should have moved in.

She is sending out mixed messages Mick.

On the other hand she wants to go Camping with our combined 6 Dogs in The Lake District, in 2 weeks time.

She mentioned, after the above comment, that "that doesn't stop someone having a fling though" and she invited me to stay over a few weeks ago..so???

Doesn't sound that mixed... suggests she is up for a fling but no more. I don't think introducing your dogs is quite the same as introducing someone to your family!

Go for it Tony - once you are in the saddle she won't be able to resist you Tony. Before you know it you'll be spending her money like a Boy WAG.

Admittedly I'm only 55 years old Mick but I've yet to meet a Guy who has been able to spend a Ladies money though it DOES happen in certain movies..:)

"Whats Yours is "ours" and whats mine is "mine" springs to mind....lol

welcome to our world...

In truth she is out of my league Indiepanda.

Financially, intellectually ( she has a First Class Degree in Civil Engineering) and is extremely bright and intelligent.

Also, practically, she is currently doing her whole house up. She had already done all The Electrics and Plumbing and Carpentry.

She is studying Chinese to explore the "hidden China" next year ( No Shanghai/Beijing etc) and she went half-way round the World, on her own, when just 21...( The Far East/Africa etc..)..she is quite a Woman...

Blimey... Wot I miss?! (cant be bothered reading thru it all!)

You are a naughty little Kelstar sometimes aren't you?

Before you go to work spend 2 minutes on the second "naughty step" for missing my "take" on the fact that when Murray loses he is a "dour Scot"-hence the opening post.

When he is about "level" in a game he gets "Promoted" to British and when "Our Boy" finally comes through to Win, then he receives the ultimate accolade and is positively English, and no mistake....:)

That appears to be "Steve T's" interpretation of someone who is..

Don't quite see what the connection is as to how the above description of the Young Lady signifies her as a "trollope" but it takes all sorts...:X

And Tony... I thought you were already spoken for (Live-In Jamaican Ladyfriend )?

Jeremy: You, correctly, said it i.e. "Ladyfriend" not Girlfriend ( although I have referred to her, as such).

If she was my Partner she WOULD have something to say about other Female visitors, who, by co-incidence, are all the same age as she is, herself, i.e 30/31.

This other Lady is only 2/3 younger than me and 20 years older than my other Ladyfriends Jeremy.

    • That would be a reasonable attitude as regards the management, but my experience is that the posties are doing the best they can but are woefully understaffed (there's no cover for sickness or leave, and some walks have no regular postie assigned) and, despite denials, packages are prioritised over letter post. Posties can only physically carry parcels to far fewer addresses than letters, which means even on existing walks they don't take letters out wit them if they are carrying parcels. Because they cannot walk to the DO (in Peckham) they have to drive there and back, with two or 3 walks worth in each van. Making covering another postie's  walk that much more difficult.
