Small bell on collar too.Would be very grateful of any assistance in finding it's proper home. JetSetWilly
it shouldn,t be too hard to find who owns it, talking cats are pretty thin on the ground. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6800-found-black-cat/#findComment-217821 Share on other sites

cate
They go hunting, usually at night. If they are unneutered they go looking for romance. Get your cats neutered and keep them in at night Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6800-found-black-cat/#findComment-220987 Share on other sites
Narnia
Don't they have any sense of direction then? Our new neighbour has two cats. How long will it take them to familiarise themselves with the area? cate
It depends on the cat. I had one go missing once - she had been spayed - and she only went to the next street and was found in someone's garden. I had put up notices and they called me. After that she never disappeared again except to go to a neighbour's two doors down to visit when I was at work. Some cats are more inquisitive than others. They are more likely to get injured at night by traffic. Usually you keep cats in for a couple of weeks after moving in and hope everything works out after that.
