As I understand, in academic and literary contexts, it is appropriate to use capital letters for "significant words" in a title, with significant usually referring to pretty much everything but prepositions and articles.

Probably a level or 2 of geekdom above what you were looking for...

This is far from the strangest thing they do. Bugbears of mine include numbers (when spoken): 2009 becomes two thousand nine. And headlines, eg: Senate attacks spending, waste. Is an and too much to ask for?

I've just written a piece for an American newspaper and the changes they've made are bizarre. Still, they're paying so I won't complain.

I've just had a jab, but I didn't realise till I got home that I hadn't been told what it was,  and I had forgotten to ask. This was at the pharmacy at Tessa Jowell. Last time I had a jab was at the  pharmacy opposite Nunhead Green, and they gave me a leaflet to take away with all the information.

    • Yes, I have had bad experiences with plants from  Crocus in the past. I will have a look at Gardening Express, but I am wary about buying plants online, particularly if they use Royal Mail and might now take ages to actually arrive.
