I just read Badger saying he thought he'd intruded on a small clique, and therefore rarely posted. So, why don't we try to recruit new members by telling friends, neighbours, tradespeople etc? I just did that with a pal I had not seen for some time, but she had already been informed. She lurks, but her new neighbour Kev posts, so if that rings a bell with you, Kev, let us know who you are! • Their website says: “This store is temporarily closing for refurbishment on the 24th December after closing time. We expect to reopen, bigger and better, in the middle of February 2025.”
    • My partner told me the other day that he had seen some in Southwark Park, and he had never seen any there before. I've only ever seen them near water, eg by the stream on the walk between Merton and Carshalton. Hoping I might get some in the garden now, it would make a nice change from sparrows, great tits and the robin, lovely as they are 😀
    • Thanks, I'll call them.  I don't think the letters would be sent out from the shop, so it's more likely that the info line would know.
    • Main info number is 0208 768 4500 you could try that
