Hi all,

Looking for some advice. I'm about to start work in a school in Sept and want to know whether to keep my son (16 months) in his nursery or look for a childminder or nanny. I have no idea how much it would cost for the latter but have a feeling it might be more cost effective given I'll be off school holidays.

Can anyone give me a ball park for how much it would cost to have a childminder 4 days a week 8-6pm? Also if I'm only doing term time, do term time only nannies exist?

Thanks! and apologies for the ignorance!

    • There are so many variables. Good chefs can having bad nights, post-Brexit staff shortages, your dish might be brilliant, your friend might order something that's inedible. In the end I think the best option is just to go to the restaurant which has the best overall reviews. If all the reviews are bad then avoid, but even if all the reviews are good that's not a cast iron gaurantee.
