jctg
Well, seeing as we all seem to be being told not to vote anymore (because ALL politicians are corrupt) we'll probably end up with someone like Jeremy Kyle. Or Nick Griffin. Or if we're lucky, Vanessa Feltz. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6508-jacqui/#findComment-208535 Share on other sites

skidmarks
There were a hell of a load of press outside her place this morning when I passed. I wonder if she is paying for the footways to be repaved outside her place at the moment. You knew where you stood with both these shitbag parties. Now there is more choice of essentially the same product200 different flavours of a vanilla ice cream isnt much a choice at all.The media experts and marketeers have commodified politics and made it another product to be sold and consumed. You vote for these scummers, you rage at the laughable expense claims as directed by the media, you think that placing your little mark on a bit of paper every now and then will make a differenceit doesnt & it wont Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6508-jacqui/#findComment-208630 Share on other sites

louisiana
I'd vote for a party that abolished first past the post in favour of some form of proportional representation, and that introduced a bill of rights. Unfortunately any party with any chance of winning under the present system is unlikely to implement the former (once they get into office). Windom
Abolition of 'first past the post'is unlikely for Westminster unless there is a hung parliment after the next election, which now seems unlikely as Labor is as popular as a pederast in daycare.
