Hedge removal: any recommendations?

We're keen to remove a hedge from our back garden asap, ahead of baby-proofing the (small) space.

Any recommendations for someone to do the job and dispose of the rubbish responsibly?

  I hope that for the sake of anyone riding or cycling in the dark, this area is very well marked and cordoned off. I have known a number of cyclists suffer extremely nasty injuries as a result of holes and cracks in the road.
