On a serious note. The fox has been misunderstood again and has now walked away from the party. I think a few apologies may be in order for 'over stepping' the mark here. Foxy is on holiday and entitled to do whatever he likes. If he wants to post on the forum who are we to judge? Or is there a hint of jealousy that he is in the baking Turkish sun having fun whilst the rest of us are in the rainy UK breathing in car fumes and eating organic ostrich burgers. Yeah, thought so. Give him a break.

Louisa.

Might be the CloudFlare interception.

Just a reminder of what I posted on the first page of this thread. Did anyone even read it?

People that have active, socially hectic holidays surrounded by friends/family/kids, loads of things to see and do, probably wouldn't even think of or have time to post on here.

These are the ones that more likely use the forum to ease boredom when they have nothing better to do.

Others that have quiet, relaxing, 'me' time holidays surrounded by nothing but solitude and a mobile, have the time and need to communicate.

These are the ones that more likely use the forum because they rarely have anything better to do and want to keep in touch.

If, in the unlikely event that I ever go on holiday, I can assure you that I'd still post on here. And read it every day.

Louisa, I agree with you about the apologies, but please don't mention ostrich burgers.

    • What is wrong in getting "something for nowt", that's what inheritance in 96% of cases is. IHT is a death tax, taking 40% from those that inherited from their partner, parents, family etc. . You live in a world blinkered by your Lefty views, No doubt you were a cheer  leader for Corbin as well, oh how sad.
    • America don't care, Biden has done this to create Trump with a major problem. And its four months since the Stooge party took office, they'll blame everything on Lammy who told Trump what he thought of him, we're on our own on this one. And would Putin strike London? Take out the Bridges from London Bridge to Vauxhall Bridge, job done, London split in two, it would be utter disruption on a grand scale and utter, utter chaos with no immediate recovery.
    • what it all reminds me of most is the introduction of the minimum wage, and the dire predictions from vested parties But that all turned out pretty well and no-one would scrap it now would they? jazzer man - walk away from the weird websites you spend too long on. It's kinda weird "Why should ANYONE have to pay inheritance tax when the original owner has already paid tax on it." because you just got summat for nowt original owner is dead already so it's not a death tax You just don't like the idea of tax at all - so I'm not sure where money for public services would come from in your world
