Johnjet
We moved today from Turney Road to Court Lane in Dulwich and had to post to say how fabulous Bridges Removals were. We chose them from the recommendations on the Forum and made the right decision. We would definitely recommend. They moved us in a four/five bed house - took all beds down and put back together, popped over with boxes whenever we needed them. Great, friendly guys and so efficient. This is our fifth move in Dulwich and definitely the best.http://bridges-removals.com Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/63884-recommendation-for-removal-firm/ Share on other sites
kosmopolitek
Hi JohnJet,We're interested in this company and were wondering how long it took them to move you and at what price? Would be useful to know as our move will be substantially smaller than yours, and will give us a good idea of what we could be paying.ThanksK Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/63884-recommendation-for-removal-firm/#findComment-872521 Share on other sites

arthurthecat
Steve and his team did out move yesterday from ED to Peckham, not far but such a big thing to do with a 10month old and two cats and 6 years of crap to deal with! We went for the full pack / move / unpack and they made it as stress free as possible. Even having to move a massive teak wardrobe out the front window of the bedroom didn't phase them. Nikki and team came in the day before, packed up 90% of the house and when we didn't have any more space for the boxes they left - move day the guys were early, and loading the vans took a few hours as the rest of the house was packed up and all the furniture (beds / cots) disassembled. Moving in was a breeze, and done in a few hours with the kitchen and living room fully unpacked.Steve is a real gent, Nikki is a bloody good organiser. Quite suprised to hear our job was their first unpack job - would never have guessed. All in all a great team who made quite a stressful experience significantly less manic. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. When you think about all the arbitrary costs entailed in moving, like mortgage valuations, surveys, etc.... Having Steve and team do their thing is really good value. edwig
I would thoroughly recommend Bridges removals as well. We used them to move within SE22 a couple of weeks ago and they were fantastic! Flexible in the run up to exchange and before we had a firm moving date, competitive on price and really hard working throughout. The team arrived the day before to pack everything up for us and were so efficient. Nothing was broken in the move. On the day our furniture was dismantled and reassembled at the new house and they worked hard to get everything into place for us, which wasn't always easy. They also did an unpack and took away the boxes and packaging, which I would advise as it saved so much time. A friendly, positive team who we enjoyed spending a couple of days with. Really good value and reliable. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/63884-recommendation-for-removal-firm/#findComment-892233 Share on other sites
