What do you think about the new Wolfram Alpha search engine?

The hype says it's the new generation in search engines but most commentators say although useful it won't replace Google yet. I see they've taken it down now pending tonight's official launch in the US. The link gives some more info and there's a introductory tutorial at www.wolframalpha.com

It's not due to launch fully in UK until Tuesday.
