sophiesofa
I vote no. My exception to this rule is the mono brow which is acceptable if it is plucked a bit but I don't like it if it is plucked far too neatly. dukesdenver
No, they should let the ladies do the plucking for them. Youch! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6248-should-men-pluck-their-eyebrows/#findComment-200529 Share on other sites
Mick Mac
Not plucking - but barbers do trim them for me. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6248-should-men-pluck-their-eyebrows/#findComment-200531 Share on other sites
Dr Proctor
I suffer from the occasional monster lash, which is most often spotted by Mrs Doctor Proctor. Her solution is to wait until I'm half asleep (perhaps dozing on the couch), and then she goes in with the pointy tweezers. If I do spot the blighter first, I leave it to grow, just to see how long it can get before it is harvested. Dr Proctor
Razoring your own eyebrows is a dangerous path to tread.Pluck if you must, but leave the sharp stuff to a professionalLunacy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/6248-should-men-pluck-their-eyebrows/#findComment-200546 Share on other sites

Jeremy
If I leave mine in their natural state, they join in the middle into the aforementioned monobrow. Therefore a little plucking is essential. I stop short of fashioning them into a delicate arch.daizie - plucking nostril hair is OK? No it is not! I tried it once, it was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced. Nostril hairs should be trimmed. Again, I am not a vain man, but nobody likes a fellow with thick hairs like insect legs sprouting from his nose. sophiesofa
i think a trim for older gentlemen long eyebrows is fine because my dad gets it done when he gets his hair cut. Men do not razor your eyebrows - you'll have your eye out. Michael Palaeologus
At Mr Toppers for ?6 they give me a number 2 all over. Head, eyebrows, nose, ears and nethers. Other places in Soho charge ?200 for such a service. Its a bargain. indiepanda
Depends how wild they would be left natural, but there's nothing sexy about a mono-brow. sophiesofa
my goodness i never knew barbers sometimes trim nose and ear hair - i think those places are a bit personal. How do they approach such subjects? When I went to the dentist last time I was told I was a prime candidate for teeth whitening, with such good quality teeth (that obviously aren't white enough!) Do they do it in a similar fashion? What would you like today sir, short back and sides and I see you have such brilliant excess hair sprouting from various orifices, you are a prime candidate for an orifice trim. Nero
You simply ask the barber to trim the hair that is causing you problems. I always ask him to trim my eyebrows - he uses a comb and the clippers. If I tried to do it myself it might not look as even. HonaloochieB
I only give mine a quick trim with a shaver when they start 'Healeying' and begin to droop into my eyes.Though I often leave them for a couple of days and pretend I have a fringe.Takes me back to the 70s so it does.
