but what do men mean when they say 'real' women???

what are the qualities you look for in your 'real' woman?

feisty

spirited

bright

comfortable with who she is

happy with her own sensuality

funny, maybe a bit playful

thoughtful

a 'grown up' woman... what ever that means!

well that's after a few drink and some comedy up at The Hob

Personally, I find that having a V*gina makes a real woman...

Seriously, I find a massive sense of humour & wittiness v attractive, I also like a woman who is intelligent & cultured, dorkiness/koolness is a turn on, passion about life, interests etc- a woman with fire in her belly rocks, femininity always good..

Yes, I know, I've got more chance of finding the Loch Ness monster :'(

I agree Daizie...I was only kidding about my more chance of finding the Loch Ness monster comment, I actually just realised that I've actually described most of my female buddies, which is cool

Depends on what your definition of bright is, Keef. That's exactly why a did not use the word intelligent, because I meant someone with a 'brightness' of personality, with a bit of sparkle (ie not dull, stodgy, pessimistic, plodding, etc.).

Anyway, I believe that there are many forms or types of intelligence, and the traditional academic model does not reflect that. I see a huge variety of types intelligence in my students, I see it in other people. IMO, conventional forms of learning do not harness or encourage expression of this variety. I have often come across children (and adults) who have been labelled a 'not bright' at school, who are the most dynamic and intelligent people...

not sure about the 'humility' thing... has a sort of Christian air to it, isn't there something about Mary Magdalene's humility when she washes Christ's feet.

No... maybe I have got that totally wrong and it was Christ that did the foot washing thing...

Mind you, I am a big fan of tenderness... there's not enough of it about these day!

So maybe we should add

'Ability to express tenderness' to the list

and what about 'Mystery'? people talk about women and mystery a lot

How the hell did you get that photo of me???? Well at least it's one of my better ones.

Also, a lil bit of mystery is good, too much to the point of paranoia is bad tho..

A good woman is like an onion - many layers, pretty darn tasty & should make my eyes water a lil bit.

BITCH

That's what a lesbian told me was her ideal woman.

Then there's the Accountant joke.

An accountant had to choose between three women. So his mate gave him the idea on how to test them.

He gave each one ?100 each and told them they had a month to decide what to do with it.

First woman spends ?90 on herself and invests ?10 in the bank.

Second women spends ?30 on herself, ?30 on a gift for him, and ?40 in the bank.

Third woman puts all the money in a high interest earning account.

Which one does he choose?

The one with the biggest tits.

OK maybe that should have gone in the bad joke thread.

My hubbie chose me because we shared the three main important lifestyle choices. Child free choice, motorcycling lifestyle, and politically left of centre. (And I had big tits....)

    • Elliot just fitted 5 internal doors for us and the process from start to finish was excellent. He was very quick to come back with a quote and to fit us in for the job. The job was actually completed in the time quoted which was very refreshing!! The work completed was of the highest quality and great value. We will happily recommend him now to friends who need carpentry work completed in the future
    • Peter and his team did excellent work on my flat in Nov 24 sorting vents fans and dampwork. The suggestions he made for sorting the damp have proved very effective for a long-standing and tricky problem. Efficient responsive and well priced.
    • I started this petition about 10 years ago in relation to the Heygate 're-development' (which was corrupt to the core imo). Unfortunately it didn't change anything. But the stats quoted are still shocking. Southwark ended up making a loss on the sale of a hugely valuable piece of central London land and turfed many, many families from their homes in the process. It's the same story - you have massive property / development companies, who manage to completely out manoeuvrer / run circles aorund councillors, often destroying communities and doing very little to make properties more affordable or address the housing crisis. Rather, they add further 'heat' to an out of control, international 'property investment' market. We need more council housing - high density, but mid rise imo.
