Well, for one, your item (once sold on) has comes with no manufacturer's warranty. Your rights do not transfer and the person buying it from you has no legal rights under the Sale of Goods act whatsoever as you are a private seller.

Wow-ee - that's the sort of anti-bargain you really don't see very often. Well, not outside of Greek debt negotiations, anyway. Have you ever thought of getting into the motor trade?

Did some work on consumer protection in the 00s and Curry's customer service and warranties are just as bad as then.

Two weeks later, not worth repairing, no return of ?50.

The story doesn't stop there. I'll see them in court. Haven't included the bit on them saying "only stupid people don't buy extended warranties"

John Lewis delivers for free for purchases over ?50. They also deliver for free for anything to a local Waitrose for you to collect.

When you buy a new tv from John Lewis, Currys etc they often throw in a free sound bar !!

If this really is an unwanted gift why don't you just return it and get the full price back rather than selling it on here ??
