Nanny Share available with experienced and established British Nanny

Recommended Posts

Looking for one family for 5 days... OR... two families sharing the week (3 days and 2 days, 1 day and 4 days etc)

After 5.5 years, we're really sad to be leaving our nanny share. We joined when my daughter was 20 months and since then have had a son, who's now 4. Both will be full time at school from September onwards so we have had to make the decision to move on from what has been a fantastic nanny share experience.

Jaki is British and with 25 years experience, is immensely kind, caring and conscientious. She has more energy with the children than me (!) and balances all the needs of the children regardless of ages or needs. She cooks fresh meals each day, they are always out and about at parks, libraries, soft play etc. Equally she'd been a godsend working with my daughter and her homework. One of the best things she does is create a caring 'family' feel for the children from different families - they all love to be part of the share.

Jaki has experience working with babies upwards so is really happy to consider all options. You'll be in the share with one other, full time family who have been with us for 10 months now. Their daughter is 15 months old and utterly delightful - has been such a joy to have in the share and her parents have been consistently lovely to deal with.

There's so much more I could ramble on about. Please, if you're looking for a full time nanny share in East Dulwich/Peckham Rye areas, PM me and either I can call you to give more info, or I'll give you Jaki's number and you can speak to her directly from the off.

I highly recommend Jaki, who has been nanny to my daughter for the last 10 months since she was 8 months old. Jaki provides a warm and loving environment for the children and my daughter absolutely adores her. I love that she comes home smelling of Jaki's perfume as she gets lots of kisses and cuddles throughout the day!

My daughter has developed lovely manners with Jaki (I was very surprised that she has learned to say 'thanks' when given anything) and it's a relief to know that she has eaten, played and slept well when I pick her up. It has really made my transition back to work so much easier knowing that baby is well looked after.

Like Fidgetsmum I could go on. If you need any more information, PM me and I'd be happy to have a chat or meet up.

We're the other family who share Jaki as our nanny. Our son joined the share with Fidgetsmum's 2 kids about 2 years ago when he was about 1. Like both Fidgetsmum and mmiranda, we only have amazing things to say about Jaki.

Jaki is very active with the kids and takes them everywhere as far afield as Vauxhall City Farms, Crystal Palace Park to see the dinosaurs, and Surrey Quays to skip rocks along the river. Over the last 2 years, our son has become a loving and conscientious little boy and we know we owe a lot of that to Jaki's care and attention. She's an experienced mother and grandmother and does more than look after kids, she's helping us raise good little members of the community.

Our son will be going to kindergarten in September, so we won't be requiring day-time childcare any longer. We're actually a bit worried about how we're going to cope without her in our lives, as she's enriched our lives in so many ways. She looks after our children, but she also lends support to the parents wherever she can. We'll all be sad to leave the share.

Feel free to PM me if you have further questions about Jaki, or the share, or any concerns about hiring a nanny or being in a nanny share for the first time.

A further recommendation for Jaki - I'm the father in the family that's leaving the share (albeit very reluctantly). She really has made our experience of childcare far better than we could have hoped. Our children love the environment she creates and have learned to be caring, considerate and thoughtful while retaining their individuality and sense of fun. We use her as a source of parenting wisdom, and she's never been wrong. She has an extraordinary ability to put children at ease very quickly, and our daughter settled in instantly when we joined the share. She always goes well beyond what one might reasonably expect, and has reduced the stress in our busy working lives hugely.
