Nanny wanted from mid-June

Recommended Posts

We are looking for a caring, reliable, energetic nanny to watch our five-year-old son, starting in mid-June. We live in Dulwich and our son is currently in Reception. Our son is very social and outgoing. He loves Lego, Spiderman, Star Wars, doing arts and crafts, swimming, and playing tennis, rugby and football.

Hours would be 3 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Friday, during term time and 8 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday, during school holidays. My husband and I both work full-time in the City, so some flexibility around hours would be helpful. There would also be occasional babysitting in the evenings and on weekends.

It is likely the position could increase to full time (8 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday) in late spring / early summer 2016.

Responsibilities would include school pick-up, helping with homework, organising playdates and activities, and typical nursery duties (cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.).

If you are interested, please PM me with your CV.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Dear sensei,

I am a 20 year old film student, I live in Forest Hill, London and am writing to apply for the Nanny position you have posted. I am highly experienced, and confident working with and catering for the many physical and emotional needs of very young babies/children. I have lots of experience in childcare, working as a live-in Au Pair, working in London, France, and Italy, and would love to be given an interview for this post.

I am musically trained, and would be happy to incorporate music into my care duties, as I strongly believe that music is a brilliant tool for life, and a way of creatively enhancing the worlds of small children, and their development as human beings.

I am available Mon-Fri and would be happy to start ASAP, could be tomorrow! (June 2015). References are provided in my CV, please find this attached.

I hope to hear from you in due course, and maybe meet you and your little one!

Please feel free to contact me if you require any further information, my telephone number is 07517490561.

Yours sincerely,

Bridget Spencer

    • From the number of replies I had and the question asked by Azalea here  I conclude there is either considerable fear to speak out publicly about GPs or there is a level of dissatisfaction about doctors expertise in rheumatic chronic disease in our local area that is higher than I was expecting. Both things seem to me no good at all, especially if confronted with the number of people with rheumatic conditions living in Dulwich and surrounding areas - I see so many relying on pseudo scientific therapies, falling into a downward  spiral and then with  diabetes, obesity and various other manifestations of poor health  such alleged dementia or autism.  What to conclude? Best of luck to everybody who cannot afford private consultations and does not have the skills for self-care!
    • We found a rucksack on our driveway (looked liked it had been abandoned, possibly after being stolen). Contained a few things including a bible that belongs to Georges. Keen to get it back to him if possible as I doesn't look like it was left intentionally.
    • Hi  We need to replace 3 fence panels in our garden that are damaged and I would like it to blend in with the rest of the fencing. So I am looking for something weathered. If you are taking out some fence panels and looking to dispose of them, please please let me know. I am happy to buy them!  Thanks 07903830384
