Good morning all,

Can anyone help me with 'Bring Your Own' restaurants or cafes in East Dulwich?

I understand you can take wine/beer to The Thai Corner Cafe and for a small charge you can take your own food to Green and Blue. Is this correct and are there any others please?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure it's still the case with Green and Blue, is it? They do offer food now, albeit a smallish choice.

Yes you definitely can to the Thai Corner Cafe - they charge corkage but it's not a high charge.

Come to mine and you'll get baked beans with a bit of curry paste stirred in if you're lucky :))

It's in return for cash, so restaurant style.

    • He was, according to teachers (who put it in writing at the time), someone with "publicly professed racist and neo-fascist views". It was also reported at that Farage was so offensive to a boy in his set, he had to be removed from a lesson, and that along with others, that he "marched though a quiet Sussex village very late at night shouting Hitler youth songs". The College Chaplain (again, according to a contemporaneous note made at the time of his appointment to prefect) judged that "..in his experience views o that kind expressed by boys of that age are deep-seated, and are meant.”. At the time that he was made prefect (despite the protestations of some of the teaching staff), he was 17. It has been reported recently that later, as an 18 year old, he was involved in the anti-Semitic bullying of a 13 year old boy at the College. So the suggestion is not that he was a 'contrarian', but a young man with deep seated and publicly professed racist and neo-fascist views. Of course, it doesn't mean that those deep seated views could not have changed. But when you consider his pre-occupations and rhetoric over the many years since, I think it is extremely reasonable to question whether they have or not.
    • I believe they're mules
    • No. They are muffins. Or Muffins.
    • You keep missing the main point, Farage, as an adult, has consistently denied these accusations over the years, it's only since several people have recently come forward in person with these accusations that he has now backtracked on those denials. It's also very telling that he never sued Crick about the claims made in his book...
