Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I would like to bring to attention there is a pitiful looking cat - all skin and bones, lots of fur missing from its tail and upper body. I saw it as I was walking into Barton Close on an errand, off Kirkwood Road SE15, this morning at around 9.00. Unfortunately it was not there when walked back the same way a few minutes later. It looked scared and very hungry. I do not live in the area and wonder if anyone would look out for it. Not sure of what it might have looked like before but seemed to be between a tabby and torty but longish coated.

I inboxed you as this message really concerned me. I have 3 cats of my own and this is not the way any cat should be looking.

I urge all members of the public to please keep an eye out for this cat and if it is seen please inbox me as soon as possible and I will come and collect it and take it to the vet

It needs Urgent treatment

    • this is jokes -  I walked through Dulwich park and there were loads of people there and actually the skate park is reasonably illuminated by the street lights.  I was stating a tiny fact about a sliver of time not making a statement on the 'youth of today'
    • The sun set at 5.37pm yesterday and it was 7⁰ at that time, according to the Met Office. The skate park is, obviously, unlit. Kids these days can't win. They get off their arse and make use of a derelict car park, and it gets called a haven for underage drink and drugs. They use the skate park and people complain it's noisy; they don't use it because it's dark and cold and people complain about that too! If they were out there bundled up against the cold yesterday, we'd probably hear moaning about "hoodie ruffians wearing masks..."
